Commitment to transparency
Klabin provides detailed and consistent information to shareholders and the markets through quarterly financial reports, adhering to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
Since 1999, the Company has published an annual Sustainability Report, detailing its environmental, social and governance performance. In 2021, capital market stakeholders gained convenient access to a range of sustainability indicators on Klabin's ESG Panel.
In 2024, Klabin strengthened its commitment to transparent sustainability-linked financial reporting by launching its Sustainable Finance Report. This document provides details on the issuance of green bonds, initiated in 2018, alongside other sustainability-linked instruments, including sustainability-linked bonds (SLBs), sustainability-linked loans (SLLs), accounts receivable financing and revolving credit facilities (RCFs). In 2025, this report will include progress on green bond targets, following a R$1.5 billion bond issue in 2024 tied to emissions goals for paper production.
This integrated disclosure underscores Klabin’s leadership in sustainable finance and provides a reliable, transparent foundation to aid understanding and decisions among capital market participants and other stakeholders.

By reviewing several policies, including its Financial Indebtedness Policy, Dividend and Interest on Equity Distribution Policy, Anti-Corruption Policy, Trade Sanctions Policy and the Supplier Code of Conduct, Klabin reaffirmed its commitment to a long-term vision and sustainable value generation for its investors. These periodic reviews ensure alignment with business evolution and reflect the Company’s transparency and long-term perspective.
During the year, Klabin also disclosed its updated cash cost and capital expenditure projections – critical market indicators that reinforce the predictability of its business model. This was the first time that the Company published these indicators, and it successfully adhered to its guidance despite exchange rate volatility and other economic challenges.
