Climate Survey

In 2024, Klabin conducted a new edition of its Climate Survey, achieving a record participation rate of 90%. Held every two years, the survey is an important channel for listening to employees, helping the Company understand perceptions of the work environment, track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

The overall favorability of the survey was 78%, with highlights in the areas of Efficiency and Adaptability, which achieved favorability ratings of 86% and 82%, respectively. In the area of Proactiveness, the survey indicated an opportunity for development. The value of Safety also received a positive evaluation, but this topic will always remain a priority for Klabin.

The survey showed that team members see strong Execution capability as one of the Company's key strengths, along with the quality of its decision-making. Quality and service (with a customer focus) were also seen as key attributes in Klabin’s value proposition. An additional survey was carried out among directors and managers, which showed that leaders are strongly aligned with the Company’s strategy.  

Focus on improvement

Klabin’s executive leaders began by evaluating the results of the Climate Survey to align perceptions and deepen understanding. This diagnosis was then presented and discussed at special meetings of Klabin managers, coordinators and specialists. Several action plans are currently being developed and implemented. The reformulation of Klabin’s Attitude was important in bringing greater simplicity and clarity to the cultural pillars, making them stronger and more evident to the Company’s professionals. This contributed to their internalization and, consequently, to the strengthening of their application in practice. These updated attributes have already been incorporated into the 2025 employee performance assessment process, reinforcing the need to deliver results through Efficiency, Adaptability, Teamwork and Proactiveness.

The Performance Management System will help sustain the evolution of Klabin’s culture, highlighting the competencies to be self-assessed and evaluated by managers, and fostering the development of professionals.


 

Launch of Klabin Attitude

The new set of competencies and values was presented to leaders. These professionals contribute to strengthening cultural aspects by discussing these skills with their teams and constantly associating the Klabin Attitude with work practices.

The values and competencies were also shared with employees directly by top management at various internal events.

Throughout 2025, the efforts to strengthen and further develop Klabin’s Attitude will continue with strong intensity.
