Commitment to the future

The year 2024 marked Klabin S.A.’s 125th anniversary — a long and honorable journey that began with the courage and resilience of a Lithuanian immigrant, Maurício Klabin, who found in Brazil the conditions to build and thrive. In 1899, Klabin Irmãos & Cia was founded, laying the groundwork for what would become an extraordinary industrial complex.

Today, more than a century of achievements, stories, and legacy preservation later, the Company remains solidly positioned as Brazil’s largest integrated producer of packaging paper.

In strengthening its business model, the year was defined by the successful execution of a carefully designed strategic plan: the acquisition of a major forest area totaling 150,000 hectares, and the delivery of the Figueira Project — a new corrugated cardboard mill located in Piracicaba (São Paulo). With an annual production capacity of 240,000 tonnes, it is one of the largest and most advanced industrial facilities of its kind in the world.

Focus on integration, flexibility, and efficiency

Klabin’s operations reflect the responsible and long-term vision of its Board of Directors and Executive Management, aligned with the interests of over 600,000 shareholders, 18,000 employees, and hundreds of business partners. Committed to the broad principle of sustainability, Klabin develops solutions that meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs.

As we proudly celebrate 125 years, we also recognize key milestones along this journey: the 25th edition of our Sustainability Report, 35 years dedicated to preserving our history through the Klabin Memory Center, and 45 years of partnership with the capital markets. We also celebrate the 90th anniversary of the acquisition of Monte Alegre Farm, in the municipality of Telêmaco Borba (Paraná) — a longstanding reference that continues to evolve over time, remaining modern and relevant in Klabin’s trajectory.

Looking ahead, there are many opportunities and much to accomplish over the next 125 years.

Driven by its exceptional talents, Klabin will continue its mission to uphold the longevity, growth, and development of a leading company — one with a living culture, built on courage and resilience, committed to hard work, guided by pioneering spirit, and inspired by boldness.
